Endless Ocean Wiki

Voice of the Night Sky is the title of a lengthy quest in Endless Ocean 2, focusing around the collection of 100 constellation coins. This quest spans the entirety of Endless Ocean 2's main storyline and beyond, as the player can begin finding coins from their first dive. These coins are each named after constellations or celestial objects, and many refer to traditional Greek mythology.

There is no specific order in which the coins must be collected, either for the main quest or for any sub-quests. Though most coins are accessible the moment a given stage has been unlocked, some require access to areas which are initially blocked off. It is generally recommended that the player dive with either Oceana Louvier or the bottlenose dolphin partner, as both make searching for coins easier.

In-Game[]

There are 100 coins total to collect, with the first coin most players encounter being the Andromeda Coin within the Atoll Gate.

As more coins are collected, completing different sub-quests, the player is contacted by a "mysterious voice" over the radio, who repeats cryptic phrases and hints related to the quest, ending all of their messages except for their first and last ones with the phrase:

"...Those who draw near...to the meaning...of the heavens...their progress...cannot be stopped...."

Sub-Quests[]

The "Voice of the Night Sky" quest contains ten sub-quests, involving the collection of smaller sets of themed coins. These sub-quests are unlocked as the player discovers different coins belonging to different categories, though many coins are not part of any sub-quest. These sub-quests are as follows:
