- One of the possible thank-you emails Michael can send the player after a satisfactory tour mentions that he works in a zoo, which recently got new penguins to exhibit.
- These penguins warmed up to him quickly, which he attributes to his interactions with the penguins in Manoa Lai.
- Micheal's entry in the official guidebook has an error, where his image is swapped with that of Victor Durand.
- Additionally, he is shown to be wearing a different wetsuit than he does in game: he is wearing the Ocean Glare wetsuit, as opposed to the Monochrome wetsuit.
