"Marked by a massive cross-shaped rift, this area to the east of Ciceros Strait is a playground for the local bottlenose dolphins.

Local Life
The most notable sea life in the vicinity of the Rift is the pod of bottlenose dolphins that swim above it, occasionally descending a short distance into the cave before returning to shallower waters.
Within the Rift itself, there are several shoals of smaller fish, as well as a whitetip reef shark and zoom glows home to bicolor and Yatabei blennies. Zoom glows can also be found on the outer walls of the Rift, though these are home to the same species of blennies found on the inside.
The top of the Rift's rock formation is decorated with various types of coral, most notably brain coral, though there is the occasional fan coral that also clings to the inside walls of the Rift.
As a part of the "Be the Best Trainer" quest, a unique albino bottlenose is temporarily spotted in the area. When the player investigates, they find the dolphin in question being accosted by an angry tiger shark; after calming the shark using the Pulsar, it leaves and is never seen in the area again. This earns the delphin's favor, becoming the player's partner.
Location and Geography
Cross Rift is carved into a wide, sturdy stone formation found in Ciceros Strait at coordinates F-6. As its name suggests, it is a crack in the rock that is shaped like a cross. It can be entered either through the top, or through a small entrance on the southern side of the rock formation.
One of the Constellation Coins, the Libra Coin, can be found under a zoom-mode spot on the floor inside of the Rift.
